There are so many pitfalls awaiting even the best developer and web design agency when it comes to migrating to a new website. In the past it was all about design and UX and generally ranking wasn't top of the priority list. These days a site may well be delivering huge amounts of traffic and conversions for a business and a new site that may be missing a few key pages or has some badly chosen redirects in place can mean it tanks.
